the journey of our sister

April Cofield Lambert, and her family, friends, mentors and clients she has encountered along the way. She was truly blessed by God that He rescued her from the life of crack addiction and prostitution, to have her be such a BLESSING and inspiration to those in the same fight. As she ministers to those who are/were in prison, the streets, and even her own family and friends, we celebrate her victory of this servant through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ! AMEN and HALLELUJAH!!

April Cofield Lambert, co-author of the book, ‘FROM CRACK TO CHRIST’, organized the first Terrace Avenue Survivor’s Reunion in Hempstead State Park on July 5, 2009. This reunion was to celebrate the lives of those individuals strung out on crack and making a living in the streets of Freeport, New York, and a celebration to the glory and giving thanks to God, Who brought each of these people out of the streets, and into positive, contributing members of society through God’s grace and mercy. He didn’t have to do it, but He did!

“We may have done what the devil said we did, but we are NOT who the devil says we are!”

Amen and Hallelujah… 🙂

"I can do ALL THINGS through Christ, Who strengthens me."
